Personnel Management and Development Policy
Recordati operates in highly competitive sectors, such as the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, where it is extremely important to rely on increasingly qualified human resources, capable to deliver such professional performance and value added, to allow the Company to beat the challenge of increasing competition on the market.
For this reason Recordati pursues a human resources management and development policy which aims at promoting and developing its staff's skills, values and motivation.
The basic guidelines of this policy emphasise professional growth through on-the-job education and training. At Recordati training is a continuous process, with set objectives and targeted actions, and utilizing internal resources as well as specialised consultants.
Managerial and specialised courses are organised for Managers, Middle Managers and Supervisors, in order to ensure constant updating in relation to developments in corporate targets and their own roles.
Updating of specialised know-how is achieved by encouraging personnel to participate in training courses, which are held on site or externally, at specialised schools or institutions.
In addition, our researchers regularly attend conferences and seminars in Italy and abroad, to keep in the forefront of scientific knowledge.
Particular attention is devoted to the sales forces who perform the fundamental function of sharing scientific information with doctors.
Immediately after entering the company, all pharmaceutical sales representatives participate in a special training course in order to prepare for the specific job. Depending on assessed needs, specific training courses are also organised in view of constantly improving the professional skills of Recordati's pharmaceuticals representatives.
Specific training projects are also designed for the pharmaceutical chemicals sector, particularly focusing on a constant improvement of performance in terms of quality and efficiency. Retraining of factory workers is specifically oriented to increasing operating capacity, with particular reference to flexibility and multi-functionality.
Informative and educational meetings are also held to stimulate employees' and managers' awareness of accident prevention and workplace safety measures.
For positions involving a systematic use of foreign languages, specific courses are provided internally.
