Professional Requirements
Recordati has a highly complex organisational structure, thus embracing diversified professional requirements and careers.
Types of university degrees
For the Marketing and Sales Departments, most in demand are university degrees in technical-scientific disciplines - pharmacy, chemistry, medicine and pharmaceutical technology, biology and veterinary medicine. Graduates in these disciplines who have excellent communicative skills and the capacity to work autonomously and by objectives can be selected to undertake careers as Pharmaceutical Representatives, Area Managers or Product Managers.
Medical Department. Clinical research of phases I-III (pre-registration) and the monitoring of clinical trials of phase IV (as a support to marketing activities) is reserved for medical graduates with excellent university records, preferably specialised in the cardiovascular, urological and CNS areas. Biology, pharmacy and chemistry and pharmaceutical technology graduates are employed as Clinical Research Associates to assist in the work of medical graduates.
Pharmaceutical Research Department. Research and the development of new drugs are preferably performed by chemists, biologists and pharmacologists with excellent university records. Requirements for certain positions include a specific and significant experience in university research, and in scientific publications. Laboratory Technician positions may be interesting professional placements for non-graduates with professional certificates as chemical experts or chemical-biological laboratory technicians.
Technical Department. For production and quality control both at pharmaceutical and at pharmaceutical chemicals plants preference is given to chemistry, biology, chemistry and pharmaceutical technology, and pharmacy graduates who are strongly oriented to the management of human and technological resources. Qualified chemical experts are placed in the technical-production area to undertake a career internal to the plants.
Administration, Finance and Control Department. Preference is given to university degrees in economic disciplines and diplomas in accountancy.
Human Resources Department. This area employs graduates in economic-legal disciplines.
Information Technology Department. Graduates and undergraduates in IT disciplines can find interesting professional placements as programmers, analysts and system designers in the Information Technology structure.
