The high-tech facility covering an area of over 360,000 square metres, has an installed capacity of 800 cubic metres. There, are produced, by chemical syntheses, active ingredients for Recordati pharmaceutical brands and of large-scale active ingredients and active ingredients for the international markets.

The plant operates in accordance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and in conformity with the most stringent international environmental regulations. It is regularly inspected by the FDA, by other national and international authorities as well as our customers.

The Plant Environmental Management System, has gotten the certification in 2003, according to the UNI EN ISO 14001: 1996 norm, subsequently confirmed according to UNI EN ISO 14001: 2004 norm. The Certification has been released by the International Accredited Unit DNV (Det Norske Veritas, Italy).
